Low-threshold equipment as a prevention of socially pathological phenomena

This bachelor thesis deals with socially pathological phenomena and their possible prevention in low-treshold facilities for children and youth, specifically in on low-treshold facility called Bongo Týn nad Vltavou. This thesis is divided into three chapters. Basic concepts are clarified in the first chapter: social pathology and social deviation. There are also introduced socially pathological phenomena and social factors, which influenced their origin. There are also introduced the types of prevention. Second chapter is devoted to characterise low-treshold facilities and approximation of their origin. The third chapter focuses on low-treshold facility called Bongo Týn nad Vltavou.

Phenomenon of homelessness in context of welfare services offer in Benešov city.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to familiarize with offer of welfare services for homeless people in Benešov City on the basis of theoretical knowledge and information about phenomenon of homelessness. Also to show the influence of social services offer on the life of homeless person, to call attention to other connections and importance of a form of social service help in a role of low-cost daily centre, doss-houses and field services for people without shelter. For research part of the thesis was chosen a qualitative research for its possibilities to examine some specific broadly defined phenomenon and to bring sufficient amount of information about it. Case study method was used. Results of the research part are summarized in the end. The effect of use of social services offer for homeless people in Benešov city on the quality of their lives is exposed. Discovered conclusions point out to importance of help and support which is offered through social services.

Role of low-treshold centre in small town

The bachelor thesis deals with low-threshold equipment for children and youth and its role in a small town. The first four chapters are purely theoretical and rather of general nature. In the first chapter I deal with its anchoring in the legislation that the service provides, the course of provision of services and the persons working in these facilities. In the second chapter, I focus on the target group for these devices, what are their main characteristics, the development and possible risk behavior they commit. In the third part I focus on the definition of a small town. Social structure of the population, education and alternative opportunities for children and youth. In the fourth chapter I am describing a particular facility that is aimed at the clientele of a typical small town. Archival writings, yearbooks and information provided by the facility's staff were used to describe the facility. The last part of the thesis is research. First, I have determined the research questions and the way I will verify them according to the theoretical knowledge from the relevant literature. The survey itself was first conducted by a questionnaire method, where the clients filled out the questionnaires with the participation of an adult. Preventive activities in the context of social work with youth at risk and their implementation in the Salesian Youth Center´s Low-Threshold facility in České Budějovice.

The diploma thesis is focused on preventive activities in the context of social work with youth at risk and their implementation in NZDM (low-threshold facility for children and youth) at SaSM-DDM ČB (Salesian Centre for youth-children and youth centre in České Budějovice). The aim of the thesis is based on research and on available literary sources to mapp the development of preventive activities in NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB, their functionality and consequences in efficiency on social environment and social functionality of clients of NZDM. The research was carried out by a qualitative method, using semistructured interviews. In the thesis, there is the term "low-threshold" specified, focusing on the NZDM. The thesis defines the topic of prevention of social failure and of preventive activities directed from employers towards employees. The work also presents the social pathological phenomena that occur in the target group of NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB. Also, the target group of NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB is discussed in the context of its life situation. Finally, there are ethical dilemmas related to preventive activities or the legal obligation of NZDM. Almost the entire period of function of the NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB was mapped in this thesis and it was concluded that the preventive activities are still developing and responding to the needs of clients.

The possibilities of school and local comunity in the system of prevention deliquent behaviour tean-agers.

This thesis deals with the prevention of youth delinquency in the Czech Republic. The theoretical basis is characteristic of individual in adolescence and system description prevention of youth delinquency. The section devoted to adolescence describes individuals aged 15-18years, describes the psychological and developmental characteristics. An Attention is paid to the causes of youth delinquency. The prevention part explains the theoretical foundations on which is a system of prevention in the Czech Republic. This thesis describes the system and highlights the continuity and consistency between the elements of the system. Special attention is given to prevention at the school and local community. The empirical part is devoted to identifying the opinions and attitudes of the respondents in the area of prevention. Abstract, Keywords Implementation of Global Developmental Education in Low - Threshold Facility for Children and Youth in Čáslav. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe an experiment, which is currently taking place in a low-threshold facility for children and youth called Domek. It describes the implementation of global developmental education with the possibility of interconnecing the topics and activities into the common activities of the facility Domek. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, which is theoretical, we are acquainted with the global developmental education, its goals, topics and methods. Further sections deal with the topic of low-threshold facilities in general, respectively with the facility Domek and the researches in other low-threshold facilities. In the second, practical part, we are introduced to the project and its activities which have already taken place in the low-threshold facility and whose aims were to integrate the global developmental education into the ordinary activities.
